Choosing the right time of day to work out for you
Knowing how you function as an individual and capitalising on that can make all the difference when it comes to the quality of your training.
Granted, we are not all morning people! For some of us it may take 3 cups of coffee and a cold shower to get us going in the morning, while others can jump out of bed no problem.
Figure out what time of day you function best and schedule your training session around that! If your energy levels aren’t great first thing then pack your gym bag, take it work and make sure you stop off to train on your way home! If you know, after a long, hard day at work, the last thing you are going to want to do is head to the gym, then set your alarm slightly earlier and get it out of the way before work!

- Feel adequately fuelled to train, as you can plan your nutrition around these timings
- Optimise your performance, as you are training at a time of day where you know you will feel more motivated and energised
